ABOUT DIRTY DUCK OUTFITTERS
Welcome to Dirty Duck Outfitters, your premier destination for world-class waterfowl hunting in the legendary Northeast Arkansas Delta. In this part of the country, duck hunting isn't just a season—it’s a way of life. At Dirty Duck, we specialize in high-volume field hunting across the vast rice, soybean, and corn flats that serve as the primary dining room for millions of migrating waterfowl in the Mississippi Flyway. When the migration hits the Delta, we are exactly where the birds want to be.
Why Dirty Duck Outfitters?
We know you have choices when it comes to Arkansas outfitters. We separate ourselves through a "boots-on-the-ground" work ethic and a commitment to providing a professional, bucket-list experience for every client who steps into our pits.
• Prime Private Acreage: We hold exclusive hunting rights to thousands of acres of prime grain fields located in the heart of the flyway. Our properties are strategically managed to provide the food and water that pull birds off the refuges and into our spreads.
• The "X" Strategy: We don't believe in "stale" hunts. Our team scouts daily to track bird plumes and flight patterns. If the birds move to a different field, we move with them.
• Elite Concealment & Comfort: We hunt out of clean, spacious, and well-maintained sunken pits and brushed-in sled blinds. Most of our setups feature heat and comfortable seating, ensuring you stay focused on the sky, not the temperature.
• Professional Spreads: We utilize massive, high-end decoy spreads and the latest motion technology to create the "vibe" that finishes wary late-season mallards and pintails.
The NEA Field Experience
There is nothing quite like the sight of a "tornado" of ducks dropping out of an Arkansas sky into a wide-open rice field. At Dirty Duck Outfitters, we pride ourselves on the details:
• Expert Calling: Our guides are seasoned callers who know how to read bird behavior and adjust on the fly.
• Top-Tier Dog Work: Watch professional retrievers work the wide-open Delta terrain—an essential part of the Arkansas tradition.
• Authentic Atmosphere: From the first light of "legal" to the stories told back at the trucks, we provide an environment that is professional, welcoming, and high-energy.

A Brotherhood Forged in the Mud: The Story of Kaegen & DexterSince the Diaper Days
At Dirty Duck Outfitters, our story doesn’t start with a business plan—it starts in the backyard. Kaegen and our Head Guide, Dexter Thompson, have been best friends since they were nearly in diapers. Before they could even drive, they were navigating the backroads of Northeast Arkansas, driven by a shared obsession with the flight of a mallard.
Lifelong Pursuit
As soon as they were big enough to pull on a pair of waders, they were in the water. From breaking ice in the flooded timber to scouting dry cornfields at dawn, Kaegen and Dexter have spent their entire lives learning the rhythm of the Arkansas flyway. They didn’t just learn how to hunt; they grew up as part of the land.
13 Years of Professional Mastery
Dexter Thompson isn't just a guide; he is a veteran of the timber. With 13 years of professional guiding experience in Northeast Arkansas, Dexter has developed an instinct for the birds that can’t be taught—it only comes from over a decade of being in the blind every single day of the season.
The Dirty Duck Difference
When you book a hunt with us, you’re stepping into a world built on decades of friendship and expertise. Kaegen and Dexter have spent a lifetime hunting together, and that seamless connection is what allows them to provide an elite experience for every guest.
"We’ve been hunting together since we were kids, and the fire is still the same today as it was back then. I’m proud to have my best friend leading our hunters and showing them what Northeast Arkansas is truly all about." — Kaegen, Owner of Dirty Duck Outfitters
