A 50 percent deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 2 days prior to arrival. Alternate dates are subject to change due to availability but we will work with you the best we can.
Start times vary by package — day hunts begin no later than 4:30am, 2-day packages by 4:00am, and the 3-day corporate package by 5:00am. All hunts run until limit out or noon, whichever comes first.
It depends on the package. Our core hunts run 1 to 10 hunters. The Exclusive Corporate Package requires a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 hunters. Opening weekend is priced for a group of 5 with room for up to 10.
You're welcome to bring your dog, but a dog fee add-on is required at checkout — $65 per day, one dog maximum per group. Your dog must be well behaved and properly trained at all times, and a kennel is required. You're responsible for providing all food and supplies. Please tell us at time of booking so we can prepare. If your dog is disrupting the hunt or flaring birds it will be kenneled immediately with no refund of the dog fee.
All youth hunters must be of legal hunting age or accompanied by a licensed adult hunter in accordance with Arkansas Game and Fish Commission regulations. Youth hunters are the full responsibility of their accompanying adult at all times. Please contact us directly before booking so we can discuss appropriate accommodations and safety expectations.
The safety of every hunter is our top priority. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded. Never point your firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot. Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot. Know your target and what is beyond it. Any unsafe act with a firearm will result in immediate removal from the hunt with no refund. Our guides have final say on all safety matters in the field.
Our high-capacity electric wells keep open water available even in a hard freeze, so freeze-ups don't shut us down. That said, Dirty Duck Outfitters reserves the right to reschedule hunts due to extreme weather or unsafe conditions.
Gratuity for guides is not required but is greatly appreciated.
We do, but we don't advertise it. We only step foot in the woods when they are completely loaded with birds. When conditions line up and our woods are full, we offer timber as a special bonus option to our clients on the day of the hunt.
Clients currently booked have the option to add an evening specklebelly goose hunt. If you're interested, speak directly with your guide upon arrival to check availability and details.
